Public-sector psychotherapy workers must be licensed

Beginning 60 days after passage, New Hampshire removes the licensing exemption for some public workers who provide psychotherapy. If you provide psychotherapy for a state, county, or municipal agency, another political subdivision, or a duly chartered educational institution, you must hold a state license. You must meet the standard rules, such as education, supervision, exams, and fees. The law makes no new exemptions; other licensing rules stay the same.
