More funds for injured first responders
For first responders with a qualifying critical injury, the state doubles the total benefit pool to $1 million every two years, up from $500,000. Your personal maximum payment stays $125,000 per claimant. Awards still must meet all other workers' compensation rules in RSA 281-A. The change takes effect 60 days after passage.
