Work experience can replace CTE teacher test
The law creates an alternate path to a career and technical education (CTE) specialty license in New Hampshire. You can skip the national or comparable test. To do this, you must have three years of paid, full-time work in that CTE field. You also must hold a current, industry credential on the New Hampshire Department of Education’s approved list. The department publishes this list, and the State Board decides which out-of-state tests are comparable. The change takes effect 60 days after the law’s passage.
