Alcohol delivery by restaurants with $250 license

On-premises restaurants and bars can deliver alcohol with food if they buy a $250 restaurant delivery license. The license lasts one year and renews for $250. Deliveries must include food made by the licensee, happen during business hours, and only go to places where alcohol sales are allowed. Beer and wine must be in original sealed containers; cocktails must be in a sealed, labeled container from the restaurant. Drivers must be W-2 employees age 21+. The customer must show ID and sign a receipt, and no delivery is allowed to someone who appears intoxicated. Takeout meals can include alcohol under the same rules. No deliveries are allowed to colleges, universities, or schools, or to public libraries, playgrounds, or parks.

Longer alcohol sales hours statewide

Off-premises sellers can sell alcohol from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. every day. On-premises bars and restaurants can sell from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. every day. A city or town can allow on-premises sales until 3:00 a.m. by local ordinance.

Refill beer in any brand container

If you are allowed to refill beer containers, you can fill any refillable container even if it has another brand’s label. This applies to retailers and covered on-premises licensees.
