New rules for under-21 in NH clubs
The law sets who under 21 can be in club rooms where alcohol is sold. Anyone under 18 cannot be in those rooms unless a person age 21 or older signs them in and lists their ages. A person under 21 who is in the military does not need that adult. People under 21 may be in rentable rooms approved by the commission, without a parent or guardian, when the club uses a supplemental license and drinks are being served. These rules apply to veterans’, private, and social clubs. The law takes effect 60 days after passage.
