State energy data platform repealed

The law repeals RSA 378:50–54 that set up a statewide online energy data platform. This ends the program and the rules to run or certify the platform. Electric and natural gas utilities no longer have to build, operate, or fund the platform. Statutory cost-recovery for the platform ends. The fiscal note estimates $4.6–$7 million to start and $272,800–$416,400 each year, likely charged in rates. The repeal takes effect 60 days after passage.
