Part-time teachers at New Hampshire colleges skip credential
The law lets certain part-time teachers at New Hampshire public colleges teach without a state credential. You must work no more than 20 hours per week and be employed or contracted as full-time or adjunct faculty by a University System of New Hampshire or Community College System member. Before a final job offer, you must seek criminal history record check clearance from the Department of Education and follow the New Hampshire educator code of conduct and ethics. Anyone with a revoked educator credential under RSA 189:14-c or 189:14-d, or otherwise barred by law, is not eligible. The State Board of Education adopts rules to run this program.
