More polling places in New Hampshire presidential elections
In New Hampshire, towns and cities must provide at least one polling place for every 20,000 registered voters. The voter count uses the checklist on January 1, 2026. This applies only to presidential general elections. A town may use one site for more than 20,000 voters if the Secretary of State approves a plan. The law takes effect 60 days after passage.
