Easier verification for some New Hampshire absentee voters
Beginning 60 days after passage, New Hampshire lets some absentee voters pre-verify. If you ask to mail your ballot to a different address than the voter checklist and return it by mail, you can verify early. You can either show the clerk a photo ID that meets state law before election day, or include a notarized signature on your application. Clerks mark your envelope "voter verified" and note it on their list. If verified, your signatures are not compared on election day. If not verified, your signatures are checked as usual.
