Equipment money for Guard maintenance

The Office of the Military gets $117,723 in 2025–2026 and $101,256 in 2026–2027 from the General Fund to buy maintenance equipment. It may also spend $98,172 in 2025–2026 and $2,100 in 2026–2027 from non‑General, non‑Highway sources. General Fund amounts are available in either year. Any General Fund money not committed by June 30, 2027 must revert by September 17, 2027.

Funds for Guard resiliency help

The Nevada National Guard Resiliency Program gets $250,000 in 2025–2026 and $250,000 in 2026–2027 from the General Fund. The money can be used in either year. Any funds not committed by June 30, 2027 must revert by September 17, 2027.

Law takes effect July 1, 2025

This law takes effect July 1, 2025. That is when these appropriations and spending authorities begin.

More funding to fix Guard facilities

The Office of the Military gets $1.018 million in 2025–2026 and $1.018 million in 2026–2027 from the General Fund to maintain Nevada National Guard facilities. It may also spend $2.165 million each year from sources other than the General Fund or Highway Fund for the same work. General Fund amounts are available in either year. Any General Fund money not committed by June 30, 2027 must revert by September 17, 2027.

One-time payment for Carlin facility

The state provides $4.165 million from the General Fund to settle a termination obligation tied to the Carlin National Guard facility. Any funds not committed by June 30, 2027 must revert by September 17, 2027.
