Funding and limits for NV Grow support

Beginning July 1, 2025, the state provides $1.2 million to the College of Southern Nevada for NV Grow. The money pays for staff, quarterly GIS training travel for one year, stipends, software, marketing tools, interns, field trips, and stakeholder grants. Each year, $100,000 goes to the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension in Clark County, and $30,000 goes to each partner chamber (Urban Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas; Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce; Henderson Chamber of Commerce; African Chamber of Commerce and Tourism; NV AAPI Chamber of Commerce) to fund a part‑time marketing professional. CSN cannot make new commitments after June 30, 2027, and any unspent money must revert by September 17, 2027. Uncommitted NV Grow gifts as of July 1, 2025 must move to a CSN‑run state account. CSN must report spending by December 18, 2026 and September 17, 2027, and is subject to audit.

NV Grow help for Nevada small businesses

Beginning July 1, 2025, NV Grow helps Nevada businesses that are already here expand. To join, your business must be based in Nevada for at least 2 years, make $35,000 to $700,000 a year, and have a written business plan. The Program offers mentoring, training, GIS market data, nontraditional marketing, peer networks, and help finding financing. A lead counselor and a GIS specialist at the College of Southern Nevada support you and use data to spot growth and skill needs. The Program aims to include at least 30 Clark County businesses each year, and Clark County shares needed business data.

College of Southern Nevada runs NV Grow

Beginning July 1, 2025, the College of Southern Nevada’s Division of Small Business and Entrepreneurship Development runs NV Grow. The law defines key terms, including business plan, Centers, GIS, and the stakeholders group, to guide how the Program works. By February 1 each year, the Division posts a public report for the prior calendar year showing the help each participating business received and its tracked growth.
