Contractors can post wage schedules online

Contractors and subcontractors covered by Ohio’s prevailing-wage law can post contract wage schedules online instead of at the work site. Employees must be able to access the online schedule. The schedule must stay posted for the full life of each contract.

Employers can post workplace notices online

Covered Ohio employers can post required minor-work and wage-law notices online instead of at the workplace. Employees must be able to access these online notices, including applicable wage rules. Employers that hire minors must still keep a complete list of those minors. People covered by Ohio’s discrimination notice rules can also post the required notice online instead of on their premises. The discrimination notice must be accessible to the public.

Public workers’ rights notices can go online

Ohio’s public-employer workplace risk-reduction rules must allow required employee rights and duties notices to be posted online. Public employees must be able to access those notices.

Workers’ compensation notices can go online

Employers with Ohio workers’ compensation coverage or permission to pay claims directly can post their coverage notice online. Employees must be able to access it; workplace posting remains an option. Employers can also post chemical-test notices online where employees can access them. These explain that test results or refusing a described test may affect benefits. The test notice must still be posted with proof of coverage or the self-insurance certificate.
