Ohio's Commerce Director must create a veterans' benefits poster in consultation with the Veterans Services Director. It must list state veterans programs, their contact and website details, and federal veterans crisis line contact information. It must cover substance abuse and mental health treatment, education, job and training resources, tax breaks, and legal services. It must explain the military designation available on Ohio driver's licenses and identification cards. It must also cover unemployment benefit eligibility under state and federal law, plus other services the directors choose. Employers may display it but are not required to. Display must be in a visible place used by the most employees and accessible to all employees. The Commerce Director must provide employers a free copy upon request. The law does not change benefit amounts or eligibility.
