More wildlife permit options with raffle limits

Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma’s Wildlife Conservation Commission can authorize up to five special permits yearly for designated wildlife, beyond regular permits. The Department of Wildlife Conservation must sell these permits to the public through methods including auctions, sealed bids, raffles, or lotteries. Permits for mountain lions and wildlife with no current open season must be offered by raffle only. Special permits may carry branding associated with the Governor. The Department can contract with nonprofit groups or charitable causes to run public auctions.
