Funding helps Oklahoma health centers expand care

The law directs $3 million from Oklahoma Health Department funds already appropriated in House Bill 2766 to qualifying health centers. Centers must be incorporated in Oklahoma and authorized under Section 330 of the federal Public Health Service Act. The money must expand primary care access in or near designated medically underserved areas or populations. Services may include medical, dental, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. The department must develop a distribution method using data on patient-volume proportions and access for uninsured people. The Health Commissioner can issue rules to carry out that method.

Funding keeps Oklahoma sickle cell outreach running

The law directs $150,000 from Oklahoma Health Department funds already appropriated in House Bill 2766 to maintain sickle cell outreach. This supports continued outreach for Oklahoma residents. The act lists July 1, 2025, as its effective date. Its emergency clause makes the act effective upon passage and approval.

Funding supports Oklahoma Athletic Commission operations

The law directs $200,000 from Oklahoma Health Department funds already appropriated in House Bill 2766 to the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission. The money supports operations under the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission Act. The law does not specify changes to household services or costs.
