Beginning November 1, 2026, Oklahoma county law libraries, their boards of trustees, and their employees get free legal representation. The district attorney for the district where the library is located must provide it. Covered legal matters must relate to the library’s official duties or operations. If a conflict of interest prevents representation, the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General must provide it without charge.
