Beginning November 1, 2026, Oklahoma raises the salvage-title repair-cost threshold from over 60% to over 70% of fair market value. This rule covers qualifying vehicles made within the last 10 model years. Repair costs mean the cost to make the vehicle safe for highway use. With documented costs at or below 70%, owners get their titles reissued without the specified inspection. The threshold change also applies to keeping title labels from another state.
