Special court calendar for domestic violence felonies

The Superior Court now runs a special calendar for domestic violence felony cases and related charges. It covers felony domestic violence crimes, felony no-contact or protective order violations, and felony weapon offenses tied to domestic violence. The presiding justice may add related cases, assign judges and staff, and keep a case with one judge. These cases get priority on the schedule, and the calendar shares jurisdiction with other court calendars for domestic-violence-related crimes. The court can issue rules and work with the District and Family Courts to run this calendar.
