North Kingstown cases now go to Fourth Division

Beginning two months after passage, North Kingstown moves to the Fourth Division of the District Court. If your case started in North Kingstown, appeals and transfers now go to the Washington County Superior Court clerk. They no longer go to the Kent County Superior Court clerk. This changes where you file and who handles your paperwork, which can affect travel or timing.
