New school board voting districts for 2026

Starting with the 2026 elections, Laurens County School District 56 elects one trustee from each of seven single-member districts. The districts are set by official map S-59-56-25 kept by the Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office. That office gives certified copies to the school district and the county elections board. The map controls the lines and can change only by the General Assembly or a court. The outer boundary of School District 56 does not change, so residents stay in the same school district. The law also lists demographic data for each district.
