A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING CHAPTER 83 TO TITLE 15 SO AS TO CREATE THE SOUTH CAROLINA PROTECTION OF LAWFUL COMMERCE IN ARMS ACT, TO DEFINE NECESSARY TERMS, AND TO PROHIBIT THE BRINGING OF A QUALIFIED CIVIL LIABILITY ACTION IN THIS STATE AGAINST A DEALER, MANUFACTURER, OR SELLER OF A QUALIFIED PRODUCT, WHICH INCLUDES CERTAIN FIREARMS AND RELATED ITEMS, OR A TRADE ASSOCIATION EXCEPT UNDER CERTAIN DELINEATED CIRCUMSTANCES.
