Hunter education classes for grades 5-12

Local school districts and public charter schools may offer hunter education to students in grades 5–12. If offered, the class can count as physical education, health, or safety instruction. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency must approve the course. Districts choose whether to offer it. The law adds no state funding.
