Rest stop signs for adult changing tables

Beginning July 1, 2026, Tennessee posts online which rest areas and welcome centers have adult-sized changing tables. When TDOT replaces or updates highway signs, it must add a symbol or words near those sites to show this access. Signs follow national and state highway sign rules. An adult-sized changing table means a powered, height-adjustable table in a single-occupancy family restroom.
