The law sets uniform rules for long leases in Washington state parks. Leases and concessions cannot be longer than 80 years. Any lease, or any change to a lease, that runs more than 20 years needs at least five yes votes from the Parks Commission. The prior special rule that allowed 62-year leases at Saint Edward State Park is removed, so Saint Edward follows the same rules as other parks.
