Beginning July 27, 2025, Washington may offer limited case management to active clients on its developmental disabilities no-paid services caseload. This help is not guaranteed, and inactive clients cannot receive it. Case managers discuss service needs and explain department or community service options. The law also requires two permanent, full-time employees to regularly review and update the caseload. They track eligible clients and count those contacted who want paid services now or within the next year. Annual reports to the governor and appropriate legislative committees are required beginning December 1, 2022.
