Linked school plans for students with disabilities

Beginning June 11, 2026, Washington requires coordinated school planning for students with individualized education programs. Schools must develop and update each student's high school and beyond plan to align with their school-to-postschool transition plan. The state superintendent must ensure the statewide online systems can link these plans to the greatest extent possible. These changes aim to reduce repeated planning for students and their families.
