Broader definition for child exploitation crimes

Beginning July 1, 2026, Wyoming uses a broader meaning of explicit sexual conduct in child exploitation crimes. It covers real or acted sexual intercourse, including genital, oral, anal, and oral‑anal sex, between any sexes. It also covers bestiality, masturbation, and sadistic or masochistic abuse. Showing genitals or the pubic area of any person, or a female person's chest or breasts, also counts. Police, prosecutors, and judges use this definition in these cases.
