Adults stalking minors face felony penalties
Beginning July 1, 2026, Wyoming makes stalking a minor a felony when the person committing the crime is at least 18. A conviction carries up to 10 years in prison. Felony penalties also apply to stalking that violates probation, parole, bail conditions, or a temporary or permanent protection order. Covered orders include those issued under substantially similar laws in other jurisdictions. The maximum prison term remains 10 years.
