Beginning July 1, 2026, Wyoming’s Secretary of State can charge up to $5,000 in advance for requested faster filing. This authority applies despite conflicting laws, but only to documents under Title 17, Title 34, or Title 40, chapters 1 and 2. The Secretary must set the fee and request process by rule. Those rules must consider how fees affect total filings, faster processing costs, and legal response deadlines. Faster processing cannot change which rights take priority based on filing time.
