The board shall hold meetings for business properly before the board at least twice annually at times and places set by the board. The president of the board may call special meetings that the president considers advisable or necessary.

The department shall keep a record of the board's proceedings and also records of applicants for licenses and a register of licenses. The register is prima facie evidence of the matters contained in it.

Each member of the board of medical examiners shall receive compensation and travel expenses as provided for in 37-1-133.
