Zhongshan Broad-Ocean Motor was founded in 1992 in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province — a city known as the birthplace of Sun Yat-sen and a manufacturing hub in the Pearl River Delta. The company began as a small electric motor producer and grew by targeting the export market for energy-efficient HVAC motors.
