Vicksburg, Mississippi naphthenic specialty products refinery, operating since 1978. Capacity ~25,000–26,500 bbl/day of severely hydrotreated naphthenic specialty products. Described as the world's largest manufacturer of naphthenic specialty products. Produces HyVolt® transformer insulating oils (uninhibited and inhibited, IEC 60296 / ASTM D3487 compliant) for power transformers, distribution transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers. Also produces naphthenic process oils, brightstock, ULSD fuel, naphtha, and asphalt. In 2024, Ergon announced a $400 million expansion project at this facility. Located on the Mississippi River, enabling barge distribution of bulk oil products.
