Evonik Goldschmidt Essen Surfactant Plant
Evonik's Goldschmidt Essen site is the historical center of Evonik's surfactant and specialty chemical operations — dating to the Deutsche Goldschmidt AG merger absorbed into what became Evonik. The Essen site produces SLES and related anionic and amphoteric surfactants for the Consumer Specialties division.
