Angel Yeast Yichang Production Complex
Angel Yeast's flagship Yichang, Hubei production complex is the world's largest single yeast production site. Situated on the Yangtze River, the plant benefits from water access, favorable logistics, and proximity to southern China's sugarcane molasses supply. The Yichang complex produces baker's yeast (active dry, instant, compressed fresh), yeast extract, nutritional yeast, and specialty fermentation ingredients. The scale of the Yichang site gives Angel Yeast a cost position that allows it to undercut European competitors in emerging market tenders.
