Largest natural gas producing basin in the US (~35.6 Bcf/d; 31% of US total). EQT operates the largest individual position. Production is chronically constrained by pipeline takeaway capacity — the Appalachian Basin cannot fully egress its gas without major new pipeline approvals (NESE, others).
