Primary copper smelter in the U.S.; one of only two remaining U.S. copper smelters (along with ASARCO Hayden smelter). Located in Miami, Gila County, Arizona. Processes concentrate from Freeport's Morenci mine and purchased third-party concentrate into anode copper; electrolytic refining produces LME-registered cathode.
