Guizhou Kailin Group yellow phosphorus (P4) electric arc furnace smelter in Weng'an County, Guizhou Province. Adjacent to Kailin's Weng'an phosphate rock open-pit and underground mines (Weng'an area holds large phosphate reserves in central Guizhou). Estimated P4 capacity 150,000-180,000 tonnes/year. Guizhou electric arc furnaces are powered by Guizhou provincial grid — mix of hydroelectric (Wu River system) and coal-fired generation. Higher power costs than Yunnan peers.
