JSC Germanium – Krasnoyarsk Plant
Russia's only full-cycle germanium processing facility; part of Shvabe Holding / Rostec State Corporation. Located in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. GeCl4 production for optical fiber since 1986. In July 2025, launched new ultra-pure GeCl4 production line (≥2 t/yr capacity) — the first domestic Russian line meeting fiber-optic specifications, enabling import substitution. Primarily serves Russian domestic demand across infrared optics, fiber optics, PET catalysts, and electronics markets. Isolated from Western supply chains after 2022 sanctions.
