Plantation Pipe Line: ~3,100-mile refined products pipeline running parallel to Colonial in the Southeast, from Baton Rouge LA / Collins MS through Georgia, North Carolina to Greensboro NC. Owned and operated by Kinder Morgan. Capacity ~440,000 bpd — approximately 17% of Colonial's throughput. Plantation provides the only partial structural alternative to Colonial in the Southeast; it cannot serve the full Colonial corridor north of Virginia and lacks Colonial's capacity to serve military installations from Georgia to Virginia.
