STL – Aurangabad Preform & Fiber Complex (Maharashtra, India)
"Gaurav" campus at Waluj and Shendra MIDC, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The only STL location manufacturing glass preforms; self-described as the world's largest greenfield semiconductor-grade preform plant. Part of STL's 50M+ fiber-km/year integrated glass-to-gigabit chain. Green hydrogen supply agreement in place with Hygenco for the preform plant (2024). OVD/MCVD-variant process with Industry 4.0 automation. India's only self-sufficient optical fiber preform facility at scale. Aurangabad is the center of India's optical fiber manufacturing ecosystem.
