Targa Cedar Bayou Fractionator — Baytown, Texas
Targa's Cedar Bayou Fractionator (CBF) is a large Mont Belvieu-area NGL fractionation facility. Flooded during Hurricane Harvey (August 2017): brine disposal pumps flooded, forcing the CBF offline. This was the highest-profile single-facility NGL disruption from Harvey. Targa also operates 518,000 bpd total fractionation capacity across Mont Belvieu area facilities.
