Honeywell UOP Molecular Sieve Plant (Baton Rouge, LA)

Operated by Honeywell UOPUS · Louisianamanufacturing

UOP's primary zeolite synthesis facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana — the production site for the OXYSIV family of medical-grade LiX molecular sieves. Produces OXYSIV-5, OXYSIV-7, and OXYSIV MDX adsorbents qualified by medical oxygen concentrator OEMs (Philips Respironics, DeVilbiss, Invacare). The Baton Rouge plant is in the Louisiana Chemical Corridor (Baton Rouge to New Orleans), surrounded by refinery and petrochemical infrastructure that shares supply chain inputs with zeolite synthesis. A disruption to this single facility would eliminate the dominant Western source of medical-grade PSA zeolite. Source: https://www.uop.com/processing-solutions/adsorbents-and-desiccants/
