Mitas (Czechoslovak tire brand, founded 1932) acquired by Trelleborg AB 2012; now under Yokohama Off-Highway following the 2023 Trelleborg Wheel Systems acquisition. Produces mid-market agricultural tires for European and global markets. Czech Republic is a significant Mitteleuropa agricultural tire production hub — lower labor costs than Germany/Austria while within EU supply chains.
