The Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation for National and Community Service must send Congress a report about the Corps within 2 years after March 12, 2019, and every year after that. The report must show how many people are enrolled and how long they serve; what projects they do (grouped by project type and by Federal agency); how much money supports their service and where it comes from; the kinds of service and the results they achieve; and any other similar data the CEO or the Secretaries decide is needed. The Secretaries must give the CEO the needed data within 1 year after March 12, 2019, and every year after that. The CEO can work with qualified youth or conservation corps to make data collection better. The Secretaries must coordinate with each other as much as possible on these tasks, including data reporting and putting into practice guidance on noncompetitive hiring under section 1726(d). Each Secretary must name one coordinator to be the main contact for any Corps activity they run.
