Title 16 › Chapter 1— NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter XXI— ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK › § 191
Reserves and withdraws a specific area of land in Colorado, beginning at the southeast corner of section 34, township 3 north, range 73 west of the Sixth Principal Meridian, and following the described boundaries through nearby sections, rivers, and the Continental Divide. That land is taken out of settlement, occupancy, or sale under U.S. law and is set aside and named Rocky Mountain National Park for the benefit and enjoyment of the people of the United States. The United States Reclamation Service may enter the park and use any parts needed for flowage or other purposes to build or maintain a federal reclamation project.
