§203 Sale and Removal of Timber; Charges for Leases and Privileges

Summary
The Secretary of the Interior can sell and allow the removal of mature, dead, or fallen trees when he thinks doing so will protect or improve the park. He can also set and collect fees he considers proper for leases and other permissions granted under this law and under sections 201 and 202.

The Secretary of the Interior may sell and permit the removal of such matured or dead or down timber as he may deem necessary or advisable for the protection or improvement of the park, and may exact such charges as he deems proper for leases and all other privileges granted under this section and section 201 and 202 of this title.
