§361d Additions to Park

Summary

Expands Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas to include a number of specific parcels of land. It adds part of the northeast quarter of section 33, township 2 south, range 19 west (the privately owned part); the northwest quarter of section 34, T2S R19W; all privately owned land in the west half of section 27, T2S R19W; and various privately owned parts of other sections in township 2 south, range 19 west (including sections 15, 16, 20 through 31). It also adds all of section 36 and parts of section 35 in township 2 south, range 20 west; parts of sections 1 and 2 in township 3 south, range 20 west; parts of section 6 in township 3 south, range 19 west; and several city lots and blocks in Hot Springs (Blocks 27, 189, 195, 196; Lots 8–13 in Block 125; listed lots in Block 188), plus Fountain Street, Reserve Avenue (from Palm to Cypress), and two unnamed 20-foot streets between the named blocks. Any of these lands that the Secretary of the Interior acquires for the United States must become part of Hot Springs National Park and follow the park’s laws and rules.
