§590z–6 Disposition of Receipts From Repayment Contracts and Project Operations

Summary

All payments to the United States under repayment contracts for reimbursable construction costs, including penalties for late payments, and other project receipts under sections 590z–2 and 590z–7 must be deposited into the U.S. Treasury as miscellaneous receipts. Charges collected during development under section 590z–2(c)(1) (except amounts credited to reimbursable construction costs) and charges for operation and maintenance under section 590z–2(c)(2) may be spent to operate and maintain the project as if Congress had specifically provided the money for those purposes.
