§680 Game Animal and Bird Refuge in South Dakota; Establishment

Summary

The President may set aside certain government lands so people cannot claim or buy them, to protect and increase antelope and other game animals and birds. This only applies to lands the government still owns and does not cancel any valid claims started before June 7, 1924. The lands are in Township 18 North, Range 7 East (Black Hills Meridian) and Range 8 East. National forest lands: T18N R7E — sec. 24 (south half and south half of the north half) and sec. 25; T18N R8E — secs. 17–20, sec. 21 (west half), and secs. 29–32. Public lands: T18N R7E — secs. 5–9, 13–23, sec. 24 (north half of the north half), 26–36, and the parts of secs. 3, 4, 10, and 11 lying south and west of the Riva Road. Any national-forest withdrawals made before June 7, 1924 remain unchanged.
