Title 2 › Chapter 5— LIBRARY OF CONGRESS › § 182a
Creates a special Treasury fund to pay for duplication and delivery services the Librarian of Congress provides for the national audiovisual conservation center created by the Act approved December 15, 1997 (Public Law 105–144; 2 U.S.C. 141 note). The Librarian may charge fees for those services and must deposit the fees into this fund. The fund also includes other money tied to those services, any obligated but unspent balances the Librarian transfers, and an amount equal to the value of related assets (like supplies, equipment, inventories, or gift funds) minus related liabilities; Congress can also appropriate money into the fund. The Librarian may spend the fund to provide the services in amounts Congress approves, and the money does not expire at the end of a fiscal year.
